Getting accounts at ANL ASC

ASC at ANL is meant to support ATLAS analysis efforts, and is not a computing center. The accounts at the ASC are meant to be used primarily while visiting the Center. Therefore the accounts to non-ANL staff members may be given to those with a valid ANL visitor's pass. There is an additional requirement of taking a safety course (ESH223, see below); the course has a validity of one year and must be renewed annually.

Attending a Jamboree or a Workshop at the Center will enable you to get an account. It is also possible to become a regular visitor and maintain an account. Please see the contact information at left, in this case.

If you are attending a Jamboree/Workshop and would like an account, fill a hardcopy of the following form, and fax to (+1) 630 252 6169.
Application Form. We will have an account ready when you arrive.
