How do we apply those techniques to the studies of jets and the possible jet energy loss in EIC? * What is the best use of heavy-ion beams for the search of new physics? * What is the origin of the flow-like correlation from high multiplicity proton-proton and proton-ion collisions? Can we see it in ee and eA collisions? * What are the heavy flavor hadrons and quarkonia production mechanisms in ee, eA, pp, pA and AA collisions? What is the relevance of co-moving matter effects and recombination for the classical observables such as charm and beauty jet? * What can we learn about the exotic hadron structure with pp, pA and AA collisions? * How do we use heavy-ion beam to improve the understanding of inclusive hadron and charm production? * What is the connection to the new physics search at forward region and the studies of cosmic rays? * What is the emerging physics opportunity on proton tomography and gluon saturation with EIC? What are the relevant HEP applications? ===== Topic Coordinators ==== * EIC: * Heavy Flavor @ EIC: Xin Dong (LBL, STAR/sPHENIX), Stephen Sekula (SMU), Ivan Vitev(LANL) * Proton tomograph @ EIC for HEP applications: Timothy Hobbs (SMU), Salvatore Fazio (BNL), Alexey Prokudin (PSU), Alessandro Vicini (Milan) * Gluon saturation @ EIC: Cyrille Marquet … [TBC] * EW&BSM @ EIC: Yulia Furletova (JLAB), Ciprian Gal (SBU), Claire Gwenlan (Oxford) * Jets @ EIC: Miguel Arratia (UCR), Zhong-Bo Kang (UCLA), Stefan Prestel (Lund) * HIC: * Search for New Physics with Heavy Ion Beam: Marco Drewes (Theory) and Andrea Giammanco (CMS). * Quarkonia and exotic hadron production in relativistic heavy-ion collisions: Matthew Durham (LHCb) and Xiaojun Yao (Theory) * Ultra Peripheral Heavy Ion Collisions: Zhangbu Xu (STAR), Jian Zhou (Theory), Mariusz Przybycien (ATLAS/ZEUS) * High-Density QCD in Small Collision Systems: Jaki Noronhahostler (Theory), Wei Li (CMS/STAR), Dennis Perepelitsa (ATLAS/sPHENIX) * Heavy Flavor Production in Heavy Ion Collisions: Gian Michelle Innocenti (ALICE), Jing Wang (CMS), Jin Huang (sPHENIX) * Jet and Jet Substructure in Heavy Ion Collisions: James Mulligan (ALICE), Leticia Cunqueiro Mendez (ALICE), Yi Chen (CMS), Anne Sickles (ATLAS) * EW Physics in Heavy Ion Collisions and the Impact to nuclear PDF: Hannu Paukkunen (Theory), Georgios Krintiras (CMS) and Emilien Champon (CMS) ===== Submitted LOI ===== Letters of Intent submitted to Energy Frontier (as primary frontier) [[https://www.snowmass21.org/docs/files/?dir=summaries/EF| shown in this link]].
