====== EF01: EW Physics: Higgs Boson properties and couplings ====== | Conveners | [[sallydawsonbnl@gmail.com,korytov@phys.ufl.edu,caterina@slac.stanford.edu?subject=Snowmass EF01|Sally Dawson, Andrey Korytov, Caterina Vernieri]] | | Mailing-list | ([[https://snowmass21.org/energy/start#communications|instructions]]) | | Slack channel | [[https://app.slack.com/client/TNNU4A570/C0125HAN6B0/details/top?cdn_fallback=2|ef01-higgs_properties]] ([[https://snowmass21.org/energy/start#communications|instructions]]) | |Next Meeting |[[https://indico.fnal.gov/event/51806/|Feb 9]], last meeting before mid-March deadline| EF01 studies Higgs properties, including mass, width, and couplings, at proposed future colliders including pp, e+e-, and ep machines. Double Higgs production and subsequent limits on the Higgs self-coupling are included in the EF01 activities, along with the combination of measurements of single and double Higgs production. ====== Group Topics ====== * Higgs mass and width * Higgs decays (includes H to invisible and rare decays) * Higgs production modes: inclusive and differential measurements (includes ttH) * HH production (includes resonant production) * Higgs self-coupling * Anomalous couplings (including CP violation) * Inputs to the Global Fit These topics will benefit from the synergies with other topical groups . All groups commit to working together to ensure the least possible duplication and a full sharing of information. Cross-group topics are: * Flavor violating Higgs production and decays ([[higgs_bsm|EF02 - EW Physics: Higgs Boson as a portal to new physics]]) * (SM)EFT analyses of Higgs observables ([[ewk|EF04 - EW Precision Physics and constraining new physics]]) * Effect on Higgs couplings to fermions/bosons and on the Higgs width from extending the scalar sector ([[higgs_bsm|EF02 - EW Physics: Higgs Boson as a portal to new physics]]) ====== Contributions ====== Please express your interest in either performing a study or join studies in a particular area, using this [[https://forms.gle/aDrudwhtf3Y9TRcq7| simple google form]].
