Dear Members of the community We would like to invite you to participate in the activities of the topical group NF06: Neutrino Interaction Cross Sections of the Neutrino Frontier group of the next HEP Community Planning Exercise (a.k.a. Snowmass 2021). This topical group covers neutrino interactions on a wide range of target nuclei and across the full spectrum of neutrino energies. We expect the topics in this group to include measurements across the relevant energy ranges for current and future planned neutrino oscillation experiments, electron, pion, and photon-nucleus scattering experiments and how they can help inform the neutrino scattering community, low energy neutrino cross-sections relevant for supernova physics, very high-energy neutrino cross-sections, details on the theoretical developments of neutrino-nucleus interactions, discussions on neutrino event generators, and techniques on neutrino energy estimation methods. Several of these topics have a natural overlap with other topical groups and we anticipate fruitful discussions and collaborations. We invite your participation in a number of ways: * Join the topical group email list (SNOWMASS-NF06-CROSS-SECTIONS@FNAL.GOV). Subscription information is available at https://snowmass21.org/neutrino/start * Submit a letter of interest (LOI) to propose a topic that should be studied as part of the Snowmass exercise. LOIs should be up to 2 pages in length. Submission instructions can be found at https://snowmass21.org/loi * Join the topical group Slack channel: #neutrino_xsecs https://join.slack.com/t/snowmass2021/shared_invite/zt-eomic7mu-bSBJ7DaxYIJ7zKZj6cUxmw If you have any questions or comments, feel free to send us an email anytime (jonathan.asaadi@uta.edu , baha@physics.wisc.edu, mahn@msu.edu, ). We are looking forward to fruitful collaborations over the coming months! Best wishes, Jonathan Asaadi, Baha Balantekin, Kendall Mahn, and Jason Newby
