public class PanelPlot
extends JPanel

Builds the panel with item lists, to select columns, styles etc. This is the panel where the graph data is selected (column selection).

Constructor Detail

PanelPlot

public PanelPlot(JPlot jp,
                 DataFile df,
                 GraphSettings gs)

Principal constructor. Builds the selector panel with plotting choices.

Parameters:

jp - JPlot instance

df - the datafile object, contains the file for the plot

gs - global graph settings

Method Detail

update

public void update()

Update the selected table with new data

updateStyle

public void updateStyle(int row,
                        LinePars lp)

Update the drawing style. The style can be changed via the StyleChooser popup within this plotpanel, but also by double-clicking on the data displayed by the graph.

Parameters:

row - row index, corresponds to the y-column index of the file.

lp - new line parameters, as returned by the style chooser.

clearSelection

public void clearSelection()

Clear all the selected stuff.

reload

public void reload()

Reloads the datafile and resets the selection to default.

viewData

public void viewData()

Reloads the datafile and resets the selection to default.

setDataFileIndex

public void setDataFileIndex(int index)

Sets the index of the current datafile.

Parameters:

index - index of the current datafile.

getDataFile

public DataFile getDataFile()

Returns:

the current datafile used by this panel
