Click Here for Print Queue Status

• Start->Control Panel->Printers->Add a Printer (this starts wizard)
• Click Next
• Click “Network printer” then Next
• Click “Connect to a printer on the Internet”
• In the URL box put http://gutenberg.hep.anl.gov:631/printers/ printer_name (see names below)
• Click Next
• Select printer driver (see list of drivers below)
• Finish

• Add a Printer->Internet Printer Protocol
• In the Address box put: gutenberg.hep.anl.gov:631
• In the Queue box put: printers/<em>printer_name</em> (same printer names as for Windows instructions)
• Select printer driver (names similar to those in Windows instructions)

(Fedora 9/Gnome instructions, other OS's will be similar)

 
* System-Administration-Printing or navigate to http://localhost:631
* Select New Printer or Add Printer
* Select ipp printer
* For Host enter: gutenberg.hep.anl.gov:631
* For Queue enter: printers/<em>printer_name</em> (same printer names as for Windows instructions)
* Select printer driver using make and model of printer (names similar to those in Windows instructions)

Please use the following command to print on the both sides.

lp -o sides=two-sided-long-edge

i.e. atlas1/2/16/17/18

The deafult printer is already configured (e209_hp4014). Symply use the lpr command (Example: lpr file.ps)
