Simulation, Digitization, and Reconstruction Steps
In Athena Release 17.7.3.6
- Run ATLAS Geant4 Simulation:
AtlasG4_trf.py inputEvgenFile=<input EVNT filename> outputHitsFile=myHITS.pool.root geometryVersion=ATLAS-GEO-20-00-01 conditionsTag=OFLCOND-MC12-SIM-00 [maxEvents=<number>]
- Run Detector digitization:
Digi_trf.py inputHitsFile=<input HITS filename> outputRDOFile=myRDO.root geometryVersion=ATLAS-GEO-20-00-01 conditionsTag=OFLCOND-MC12-SIM-00
- Run Physics Object Reconstruction:
Reco_trf.py inputRDOFile=<input RDO filename> outputAODFile=myAOD.root geometryVersion=ATLAS-GEO-20-00-01 conditionsTag=OFLCOND-MC12-SIM-00
Running Generate_trf to get Alpgen Input Card Only
Need a release with at least AlpGenControl-00-00-27 or check it out locally. Just run your Generate_trf command with
--athenaopts="--config-only=test.txt"
